Successor to "Bridge to Understandingtm"


FamilyLight sm is a consulting service for parents struggling with the psychological, behavioral, or maturity issues of a son or daughter. More specific examples might  include a child who is painfully shy or fragile in some way but not a behavior problem.  Complex psychiatric issues may or may not be involved. Some of our clients have substance abuse issues, but certainly not all. A very few have also been involved in criminal activity, although most have not. Our primary role is to help  families develop and implement a plan for resolving these presenting issues.  Frequently, but not always, this involves referral to residential or inpatient services.

Tom Croke, our consultant, brings several special resources to you.  Most  consultants offer none of the following resources.  We know of none who offer all of them.

Tom possesses a unique set of experiences:

  • A parent of a very difficult child (Reactive Attachment Disorder)
